This year's Wesak Festival theme will be on embracing unconditional love as part of Wesak's introduction of the annual international Love Convocation Week, May 3-10.

Also featured at Wesak will be: Dr. Saul Shaye, renowned spiritual healer; Nancy Marie, associate of Dr. Bruce Lipton, who teaches how to remove subconscious blocks that block the joy of loving everyone; Hollister Rand, former associate of James Van Pragh, who teaches how to connect with the departed; and Mary Saint-Marie, mystic author, poet and spiritual educator, and Mount Shasta locals and spiritual teachers Amorah Quan Yin, of the Dolphin Star Temple; Troika St. Germain and Joanna Cherry, both of whom will lead special meditations.

Wesak is the celebration of the birthday of the Buddha believed to be spiritually attended by Jesus Christ plus a broad array of saints and avatars. The event has been celebrated at the foot of Mount Shasta for the past 15 years and attracts attendance from all over the world.

Originally founded by Dr. Joshua Stone, the Wesak Festival is staged by Dawn Fazende, editor/publisher of Mount Shasta magazine. The 2009 Festival is a founding event for the International Love Convocation, dedicated to creating an annual week when people around the world focus on learning the joy of loving everyone.

Gary Zukav & Linda Francis

Dr. Saul Shaye

Dr. Shaye was a practicing Doctor of Chiropractic for 17 years and has since dedicated his life to full-time service to God demonstrating an unusual gift of healing. His workshop, "A Healer's Odyssey" is the story of his own spiritual transformation from atheist to spiritual healer. "Although I call myself a healer, this is a misnomer, as a healer is a conduit for Spirit to work through," Dr. Shaye explains, giving all credit to God for each and every miracle he has witnessed.
