Speakers... Fumi Johns Stewart

Fumi Johns Stewart is Executive Director of The World Peace Prayer Society and The Peace Pole Project an international non-profit, non-sectarian NGO affiliated with the United Nations Department of Public Information. The mission of the World Peace Prayer Society is to envelope the world in the spirit of love and compassion by spreading the Universal Message and Prayer, May Peace Prevail On Earth. Founded in Japan in 1955, the activities of WPPS are now global with over 200,000 Peace Poles planted by volunteers on every continent.

The World Peace Prayer Ceremony is a global celebration of the oneness of life. It is a moving Ceremonial Ritual inviting participants to invoke prayers for peace to prevail in the countries and regions of the world - thereby sending Resonance of Peace and Healing to the cells of Gaia. The Ceremony allows us to commune in synergetic prayers for peace, love and compassion for the creation, awakening and evolution of humanity and all of creation.
