Welcome to the family of Wesak participants!
In order to take advantage of the powerful energies flooding the planet during this sacred time of year, Wesak has always been designed as an intensive. There is only one stage where presenters are offering their work from morning until late in the evening with short breaks in between. There will be longer breaks for lunch and dinner but in order to keep the energies high, we start up immediately after these breaks.
In a separate building vendors will be offering the latest in uplifting alternative practices and products. You may choose to browse during your breaks, or, if there is a particular presenter who does not interest you, you may use that time to shop. But bear in mind, shopping should not be the focus of your trip. Remember, you can come to town a few days early or leave a few days after the event if you want to do some sightseeing.
The weather in Mt. Shasta during May is unpredictable and mountain spring-like. This means it could be cold or hot, snowing, raining or sun shining. The best thing to do is check weather.com before you leave. They have a 10 day forecast that is very accurate. If you do not want to check, be prepared for anything with your wardrobe.
